Chicago Ridge, Illinois
Chicago Ridge Concrete Contractor With the Right Base Under Every Slab
Patios, stamped surfaces, driveways and walks for homes in Chicago Ridge, Worth, Oak Lawn and Palos Hills, designed to look beautiful and built on compacted stone so they stay that way.
Beneath every finish
Stone, not wishful thinking
A bed of crushed stone tamped in lifts, the quiet layer every beautiful surface rests on.
Proportion planned
Shapes and sizes sketched around your furniture, your doors and the way you move outside.
Water given a path
A gentle fall that carries rain toward the garden rather than the foundation.
Seams by design
Control joints placed where they frame the surface instead of interrupting it.
A patient cure
Fresh concrete kept damp and sheltered so the finish stays crisp.
Concrete Crafted for Chicago Ridge Homes and Businesses
Good concrete is part engineering and part design. The color, texture and lines are what you notice, and the base, thickness and drainage are what let you keep noticing them for years. Every service below balances the two.
Concrete Flatwork
Pads, aprons and simple slabs with clean edges and a measured fall, each one resting on a deep, compacted stone bed so it sits level season after season.
Concrete Foundations
The hidden structure beneath a new family room, garage or porch, set deeper than frost reaches and shaped so the addition meets your existing home in an elegant, level line.
Stamped Concrete
Slate, flagstone and ashlar textures in colors chosen against your brick and roof, pressed by hand and finished with a sealer that brings the tones forward.
Concrete Walkways & Sidewalks
Walks that lead the eye to the front door and the feet to the backyard, laid out in graceful lines, pitched to shed rain and broomed for sure footing.
Concrete Patios
Outdoor rooms sized for dining, lounging and the grill, shaped to suit the garden, sloped away from the house and finished plain or stamped.
Concrete Driveways
A driveway rebuilt from the stone up, poured thick enough for daily parking, reinforced at the apron and finished so it complements the front of the home.
Commercial Concrete
Sidewalks, entries, pads and flatwork for shops, offices and multi-unit buildings, planned around your customers and given the same careful base.
Four Steps From Idea to Finished Surface
A conversation about the look and the use
We talk about what you picture, how you will use the space and what is there now. Bring photos of patios or walks you admire; they help us understand your taste before we ever visit.
A design visit and a written price
At the property we measure, study how water moves across the yard and sketch the shape with you. You then receive a written price covering base depth, thickness, reinforcement, finish, color and removal of any old concrete.
Groundwork done the slow way
Old concrete leaves, soft soil is dug out and crushed stone is tamped down in layers until the bed is firm. Forms are set to the grades we planned, because the most important part of a beautiful slab is the part you will never see.
The pour, the finish and a careful cure
Concrete is placed, textured or stamped, and jointed along deliberate lines, then sheltered while it gains strength. When it is ready, forms come out, soil is eased back against the edges and the yard is left neat.
Why Homeowners Trust Their Outdoor Spaces to Us
We have been designing and pouring concrete since 2017, and in that time one lesson has proven itself again and again: a surface is only as lovely as the ground beneath it allows it to be.
A base built for the long run
We excavate to firm soil and lay compacted stone at a depth matched to the ground and the load, so the patio, walk or drive you chose stays flat and handsome rather than settling into dips and cracks.
A crew lead who stays in touch
You get a start date that holds and one person who answers your calls. If weather shifts the pour, you hear it from him first, along with the new plan.
An eye for decorative detail
Pattern scale, color pairings and border treatments are chosen with you and matched to the architecture of your home, so stamped work looks intentional and refined.
Curing that protects the finish
Fresh concrete is kept moist and shielded from heat and frost while it strengthens, which keeps the surface tight, the color even and the texture crisp.
Pouring since 2017
Since 2017 we have poured patios, drives and walks across this corner of the southwest suburbs, refining both the groundwork and the finishing with every job.
Chicago Ridge and the Neighboring Villages We Serve
Chicago Ridge sits between Oak Lawn and Worth, with Ridgeland Avenue running north to south through town, 95th Street crossing it near the shopping district and the Metra SouthWest Service line cutting across on its way to Worth and Palos Park. Homes here range from mid-century ranches and split-levels to newer townhomes, and many backyards are ready for a patio that finally makes the outdoors feel like part of the house. Beyond Chicago Ridge we work in Worth, Oak Lawn, Palos Heights, Burbank, Palos Hills, Alsip, Hickory Hills, Bridgeview, Hometown and Palos Park.
Backyards with potential
Many lots here have room for a generous patio or a stamped path to the garden. We help you shape the space so it feels like an extension of the home.
Clay that asks for care
Heavier soils hold water and move with the seasons, which is exactly why the stone base gets as much thought as the finish.

Questions Our Chicago Ridge Clients Often Ask
Thoughtful answers to the questions that come up as people plan their concrete.
Is it possible to pour concrete when the weather turns cold?
Yes, with the right precautions. Fresh concrete cannot be allowed to freeze, so a winter pour leans on insulated blankets, an adjusted mix and close attention to the forecast. When a hard freeze is coming, moving the date is the wiser choice, and we will tell you so.
How long will my project take from the first day to the last?
Most patios, walks and driveways need a few working days: removal and groundwork, the pour and finishing, then cleanup. Stamped surfaces add a step for sealing once the slab has cured, and foundations add time for inspections. Your written price includes a realistic schedule.
Will a stamped surface be slippery?
Stamped concrete can feel slicker than a broomed slab when wet, mostly because of its glossy sealer. An abrasive additive stirred into the sealer helps, as does choosing a pattern with deeper relief. For walks that see a lot of rain and foot traffic, a broom finish remains the most sure-footed choice.
Which factors set the cost of a new driveway?
The size, how much old concrete must come out, how deep the stone base needs to be, the slab thickness, reinforcement and the finish. A broomed surface costs less than stamped and colored work, and tight access can add labor. Each factor is itemized on paper, so nothing hides in a lump sum.
After we agree on a price, how soon can you begin?
That depends on the season and the jobs already scheduled, and you receive a firm start date when you approve the price. Any permit your village requires can add some lead time, and weather always has a vote. Once the date is set, your crew lead keeps you posted.
When can I walk on new concrete, and when can I drive on it?
Light foot traffic can generally begin within a couple of days, though the finish appreciates a bit more patience before patio furniture arrives. Cars need more time, typically about a week, and heavier vehicles longer still. We give you clear timing for your slab before we leave.
